Wide Receiver Odell Beckham, has at long last found a new team and is returning to the AFC North, this time donning purple and black.
This move is clearly a first step in trying to win back Lamar Jackson, but who knows if it’ll be enough.

Beckham and the Baltimore Ravens have reached an agreement on a one-year contract for up to $18 million, according to Sunday reports from NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero, and Mike Garafolo. Afterward, the team made the announcement.
According to Pelissero, the agreement contains a $13.835 million signing bonus, a $1.165 million basic salary, and $3 million in potentially attainable incentives. The veteran will earn between $16 and $18 million, at the very least.
After an ACL tear he sustained while supporting the Los Angeles Rams in their victory in Super Bowl LVI, Beckham spent the 2022 season as a free agent rehabilitating.
Last year, the Super Bowl winner had a number of suitors, but he opted to wait and concentrate on his recuperation.
Since entering the league in 2014, Beckham has amassed 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns while playing for the Giants, Browns, and Rams over the course of eight seasons. Moreover, he averages 13.9 yards per catch and, at 30, still has plenty of life in him.
At least one team was unprepared for Beckham’s choice to sign with the Ravens: the New York Jets, who had planned to welcome the three-time Pro Bowler on a visit beginning Sunday night. According to Rapoport, this would have involved a physical and a discussion of what he should anticipate from a prospective Aaron Rodgers-led offense.
Rapoport said, “The Ravens, though, jumped in with the cash.”
Nevertheless, if quarterback Lamar Jackson continues in Baltimore, this combination may cause problems for league defenses.
